Import layouts and sections in cadwork
In this tutorial, we show you how to use your PointCab results in cadwork. First, we create a layout:
Create a layout
In the CAD tab in the Job Editor, you can define the settings you need. It is important to select JPG as output format of the single image files. Furthermore, it makes sense to select the output in millimeters.

After processing, you can show your layout in the folder by right-clicking on the job in the Job List:

The generated DXF of the layout is saved in the directory Project_results in the folders Orthofotos and Grundriss_results: You can also use the DWG file instead.

We select the DXF file with a right mouse click with the result that the context menu opens. Use the command Open with to select the cadwork application:

The DXF is opened in the cadwork viewer now. The export runs after a click on the button in the main menu bar.

The transformation into cadwork groups is an important setting:
Save the cadwork file in the same directory:
Save in the same directory
The file Grundriss.2d is saved in the directory now.
By double-clicking on Grundriss.2d file, the file is opened directly in cadwork.
